We Shall Remember You, by Jenny Odom 2024
The work is inspired by a letter I found in my mothers things after she died. It's from her entire 6th grade class from when she taught school, before she had me. The letter was so heartfelt, and was from a different era. The letter is collaged into the piece. This is from a series of work I did using papers and images from her saved things.
